That picture of the two sisters makes me smile – I remember when I was taking it they were both bouncing up and down and Sally’s little back feet were scrambling and scrambling – determined to find a toehold on the side of that pool. (The boys were slower to develop). A week and a half later, you couldn’t keep either of those girls in anything that didn’t have a “roof” on it – they were a real handful!

As a baby, Allie was as fresh as they get – a lot like their mother. She would have made an awesome agility dog!

Still, not a single regret about the home she got – she’s been so well loved and cared for all these years – who could ask for more?
